In this small apartment kitchen the task was to make it not only functional, but also visually interesting in order to inspire the owner. I needed to create a beautiful space where they would love to cook. By taking advantage of the high ceilings to hang small pendant lights at various lengths it highlighted the vertical space. To expand the feeling of the horizontal and all around feeling of the space I selected white tile with a geometric pattern to cover the entirety of all the walls in the kitchen. The tile helped to give the space more personality as well as providing the juxtaposition between the black and dark brown with the white and touches of blush.

Making this family room feel like an at-home, comfortable, and stylish movie theater was established by painting the walls a dark navy and choosing a complimentary dark gray wood floor. To ensure that the room was not too dark and uninviting, I used the neutral cream and light tan for accessories. Additionally, using different textures - rattan, linen, cotton, leather, and a woven plush rug - helped to warm the space as well. This is the perfect space to cuddle up on the oversized sectional and watch a movie or just relax.
I thoroughly believe that ones bedroom should be a calm, soothing, and comfy space; allowing you to unwind and relax immediately when entering the room. In doing so, color selection and material textures play a vital role. In this elegant bedroom I blended a woman's desire for a glam and feminine space, with a man's want for it not to be too feminine and have a strong and stately feeling. The dark wood and navy blue blankets offset the metallic glam in the wallpaper. The mixture of textures - leather headboard, silk bedding, velvet and wool accent pillows, and gold metal accent bowl - create a fully blended, elegant, glamorous, and peaceful bedroom.

A colorful bedroom is always a hit with kids. I find that infusing at least one bright color into a child's bedroom is fun, playful, and encourages imagination and happiness. Instead of a "less is more" approach, some children bedrooms require a "more is more" perspective; either way, each child's bedroom should be unique to that child and a reflection of who they are at that time. In this room I stayed with neutral colors and tones for the walls, flooring, and furniture, which allows the style of the room to change along with the child by swapping out decor, knickknacks, and bedding.

This home office can be coveted by so many different preferences and likes with its contrasting dark gray built-in cabinets and light gray furniture and curtains. This allows for adding ones own unique artwork and accessories to fit any style. The mix of textures in this space gives it a layered feel. From intricate designs to bulky items, layering means covering the room with various elements that cohesively blend with each other, and in turn, add a lot of depth and persona to the room. My goal is to always create a home office that is both utilitarian and beautiful, which I think was achieved in this space.
This space is dressed up with sophisticated decor that is ready to impress. I sought to retain the focus on the architectural details of this room, but soften its formality. Stylish furnishings and the innovative use of form and color meet the challenge. The colorful pillows play off the painting on the wall, while providing a bright contrast to the other decor.
